ROCK ALS BENEFIT 2-22-22 for Lou Gehrig’s disease

Franklin TN artists join forces again for the ROCK ALS fundraiser with live music, live painting, poetry and silent auctions by top Franklin Tennessee artists.

FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE, USA, Feb. 14, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Caring for those who care for others

This February 22, be part of our fundraising efforts for families and caregivers with Lou Gehrig’s disease with the ROCK ALS benefit concert and silent auction on stage this year at the Franklin Theater on 02/22/ 22 to 6 p.m.

Diagnosed with ALS, she was told she would not be released from hospital alive. 3 months later, she came out and lived 6.5 more years with love and determination. – In remembrance, Ann Marie Gillis 7-6-54 ~ 2-22-21

ALS takes away the freedom to walk, talk or breathe. ALS will not wait. Living with Purpose, Empowerment and Resources is available for families and caregivers. Many families are unable to care for loved ones due to financial constraints and average bills can reach over $10,000 per month.

Disney actor and voiceover Jason Marsden (Full House / Step by Step / The Munsters) will be our MC for the evening. The ALS Association TN Chapter will join us with performances by local artists Dawn Loves Nash, Anthony Adams and Jenn Palmer with live painting by Franklin’s Roy Laws and poetry by Columbia native Joel Meeks.

THE TIME TO GIVE IS ALWAYS NOW

A silent auction sponsored by Franklin vendors and our international travel partners begins early on our Rock ALS website and will run until the end of our event on February 22, 2022. Proceeds will go to the Tennessee ALS Chapter and the Traveling Caregivers Ministries SSM.

ALS Assoc. of TN, (501 C3) is a wonderful organization that aims to discover treatments and a cure for ALS. They aim to serve, advocate and empower those affected by ALS to live their full lives. They have been our education and navigation champions when it comes to knowing what to do next, where to find supplies, who to call for care, how to get the equipment we need, and more. and they did so with great care and compassion during times when we felt completely lost. The ALS Association’s federal tax identification number is 13-3271855.

Traveling Caregivers Ministries, SSM founded by Dawn Renee, a caregiver who learned to self-medicate outside of a critical health situation, to become a holistic counselor/coach, to a full-time caregiver for a friend with dementia ALS at stage 4 and now advocating for caregivers on a mission to help those who help others. His ministry is based on the faith to start over, every minute, every second an opportunity to start over. Traveling Caregivers Ministries SSM is a private, self-funded ministry.
