Offers for colorful birdhouses must be submitted by August 9

The Arts Alive Studio and Gallery on Cole Street in Enumclaw is holding a silent auction to raise funds for scholarships until August 9, featuring birdhouses built by local artists.

Arts Alive has funded four $ 1,000 scholarships to Enumclaw and Buckley High School seniors pursuing the arts this year, and this fundraiser will raise funds for next year’s scholarship series, said gallery director Elaine Lynest.

The studio also awarded a grant this summer to the Imagination Theater summer program.

Arts Alive is a non-profit showcase for artists to create and sell their work. About thirty artists sell their works there. The studio is located at 1429 Cole Street, next to the Chamber of Commerce. He sells cards, pottery, paintings, jewelry, and other items, as well as classes in pottery and other art forms.

Bids for the silent auction can be placed at the store. More information is available at https://plateauartsalive.azurewebsites.net.
