Campbell River Rotary TV and Online Auctions Return

Proceeds from annual auction allow Rotary to fund various community projects

Rotary’s 46th annual television and online auction will take place Nov. 19-20, the Campbell River Rotary Club (noon) announced.

Online auctions will begin on November 9. Proceeds from the annual auction allow Rotary to fund various projects in the community. Some of them include: Elk Falls Suspension Bridge, Seawalk, Splash Park, Rotary Bike Park, and Rotary Community Fieldhouse.

Proceeds from this year’s auction will support community economic stimulus initiatives such as a redeveloped tourism interpretation center, creation and improvement of trails, new and revised tourist signs and similar improvements to improve experiences of citizens and tourists in our community.

Thanks to the contribution of studio equipment and expertise from Shaw Communications, nearly 500 articles, donated by the Campbell River community, will be presented and sold on live television as well as online streaming.
