Clarion’s Rotary Community Online Auction runs May 31-June 3 ::

CLARION, Pa. – The Rotary Club of Clarion is preparing for the 42nd year of the Rotary of Clarion Community Auction, using an online auction format instead of traditional radio broadcast.

Scheduled to run from May 31 to June 3, 2022, the auction will take place over four days with nearly a hundred auction items closing daily.

Bidding on more than 300 individual items begins at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, but pre-registration and browsing are available now at

Auction items include donations from over 250 local businesses, totaling nearly $40,000.00 in cumulative value.

Bidders do not need a credit card to bid online, however, they may use cash, check or credit card to pay for goods in person on the day of scheduled pickup on Saturday June 4, 2022, at the Clarion Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Paid receipts will be required to pick up items onsite or schedule donated services with corporate donors.

Cooler, plus hundreds of gift cards for local restaurants, retailers, healthcare providers, and home services.

“The Clarion Rotary Club and our community business leaders have come together once again to bring you one of the biggest local fundraisers of the year and every dollar goes directly back into the Clarion community,” said Heuer. “These funds are used to support our local students in the form of five college and civic scholarships, multiple leadership academies, and have also helped create and support local community resources like Clarion Hospital Cancer Center and your YMCA,” added Heuer.

Heuer estimated that the auction brings in between $23,000.00 and $25,000.00 each year. He expects a strong auction in 2022.

“Our auction has received tremendous support this year from our local businesses. Most small businesses are still feeling the effects of the past two years and yet most were more than willing to support the Rotary Clarion auction. That says a lot about the impact of this fundraiser at the local level, but it says a lot about our community business leaders,” Heuer explained.
