Claxton Rotary-Chamber online auction ongoing – The Claxton Enterprise


The 18th Annual Claxton Rotary Club and Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce kicked off Tuesday, August 24 at 9 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 26.

Visit https://www.32auctions.com/ClaxtonRCauction2021 and follow the simple steps to create an account. Once you’ve created an account, you can log into it and browse the wide assortment of items and place your bids.

Vacation packages, tickets to various sporting events, firearms, shopping sprees, works of art, professional services, gift certificates, gift baskets and more are to be quoted.

Winning bidders can pick up items from ECWC on Thursday, August 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Friday, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Any item not claimed before 1 p.m. on Friday, August 27, will be forfeited and the second bidder will be contacted. Proceeds from the annual profit auction are shared equally between the Claxton-Evans County Chamber and the Claxton Rotary Club.

The draws for the “Last Man / Woman Standing” and two 52-card raffles will take place on Thursday, August 26 at 6 pm at the Evans County Wildlife Club (ECWC). The raffles will take place via Facebook live on the “18th Annual Claxton-Rotary Auction” page. Anyone who has purchased a ticket for these drawings can attend the drawing in person while practicing social distancing.

Proceeds from the annual auction are split equally between the Rotary Club of Claxton and the Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce, who then use the funds for community projects, scholarships and programs.
