Clothing Our Kids online auction opens on September 16

As Sussex County kids return to school, Clothing Our Kids volunteers announce an online auction to dress them up for success.

This is COK’s first online auction to help improve the learning experience for local at-risk children. In Sussex County, more than 20 percent of children live below the poverty line. The goal of Clothing Our Kids is to help these young people with an equal start in their early education and to help them grow into successful, well-dressed and confident students.

Generous individuals and corporations donated terrific items for inclusion in the auction, ranging from unique and exquisite jewelry to a connoisseur’s collection of the finest wines.

Over 75 packages will be available to bid online starting at noon on Thursday, September 16. The deadline for final auctions is noon on Tuesday, September 28, the day after the Clothing Our Kids 2021 golf outing.

With over 20 years of experience in the fundraising software industry providing innovative and secure solutions, FrontStream’s mission is to help nonprofits raise funds to do better.

To place bids, go to biddingforgood.com/clothingourkids. On mobile devices, go to bforg.com/clothingourkids. For technical assistance, contact Bob Blouin at 302-500-3209.

Clothing Our Kids is a non-profit organization that depends solely on the time and talents of 150 volunteers. There are no paid staff. More importantly, more than 90 percent of proceeds go directly to clothing for needy Sussex County schoolchildren. Clothing Our Kids’ mission is to provide every child with the opportunity to achieve excellence. To find out more, visit clothesourkids.org.
