Cougar Island among Lake Payette properties up for auction in live auction later this month | Idaho

MCCALL, ID — On September 14, the Idaho Department of Lands will hold live auctions for several properties around Lake Payette. According to the IDL, the auction includes Cougar Island, which can be purchased as an entire island or in five individual lots, always earning more for the recipient of the endowment. Two non-waterfront lots will also be auctioned.

The auction will take place on Wednesday, September 14 at the Water’s Edge Event Center (287 E. Shore Drive) in Eagle, ID. The auction will begin at 1:30 p.m. MT/12:30 p.m. PT.

Bidders can either participate in person or remotely through online auctions.

The live auctions will be organized by Corbett Bottles while integrating Proxibid’s online auction platform. Those wishing to participate remotely should pre-register with Emily Mueller at Corbett Bottles, [email protected], by Friday, September 9.

Cougar Island, which includes all five lots, has a published reserve price of $8,770,000, according to the Corbett Bottle Auction Site.

The two non-lakefront lots and one parcel on the island have cabins on the property. The auction will be for the lots only, the cost of the improvements will be sold at a fixed price of their appraised value in addition to the highest bid price for the lot.
