Guy Ritchie Prize at Julia’s House Salisbury Race Day Silent Auction

LUCKY bidders could have a chance to win a role in a Guy Ritchie movie.

This is just one of the prizes that will be up for grabs in Julia’s House Salisbury Race Day Silent Auction.

Guy and his wife, model Jacqui Ainsley, are patrons of the Julia’s House children’s hospice. They provided vital support to the building of the charity’s hospice in Devizes around five years ago, hosting a fundraising event on their Wiltshire country estate for the charity.

As well as appearing on screen, the winning bidder will meet the director and have behind-the-scenes experience on set, with UK-based location, date and film to be confirmed.

A selection of unique and great value prizes will be available to bid via an online silent auction ahead of the race day event on September 9 and on the day itself, including an F1 weekend package on able for two people to attend the 2023 Gulf Air Grand Prix of Bahrain.

To raise additional funds for the charity, Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe has donated four tickets to the director’s box at Newcastle’s next game against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday 17 September.

He also donated four more Director’s Box tickets for the Newcastle v Chelsea game on Saturday 12 November at St James’ Park, Newcastle.

The former AFC Bournemouth manager and player has been a patron and supporter of Julia’s House for many years, previously organizing stadium tours for Julia’s House children and taking part in fundraising events.

Eddie said: “I remember my son Harry had a health scare when he was very young and when you have an experience like that you appreciate a charity like Julia’s House even more and others who care for sick children. At this point in my life, I have a better understanding of what it means and the responsibility of being a parent. I am privileged and proud to become a patron of this fantastic organization charity.

As part of the event, patrons and supporters of the charity also generously donated raffle prizes to raise vital funds for Julia’s House.

Race day Julia’s House Salisbury on Friday 9th September will see over 2,000 visitors enjoy an afternoon of racing, from 12.30pm to 7.30pm, including a special charity flat race for amateur jockeys.

This is the first time that the association has organized this event.

Guests who have booked VIP tickets for Julia’s House Salisbury Race Day will also be invited to enjoy luxury hospitality from a private viewing terrace, with spectacular views of the racecourse finish line.

The charity provides specialist care and support for the families of the most seriously ill children in Wiltshire and Dorset.
