BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — For the first time since 2019, the High Desert Museum’s flagship fundraiser, High Desert Rendezvous, will take place in person at the Museum on Saturday, August 27. Tickets for the gala are sold out but anyone can participate in the silent auction and online raffles.
The silent auction opened Friday online and is open to everyone. Auction items range from a getaway to the Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa in Pacific City to courtside Portland Trail Blazers tickets to front row seats at 112e Pendleton skyline. Find the auction portal at hdm2022.ggo.bid. Online bidding ends Monday, August 29 at 12:00 p.m.
Tickets are also on sale now for two raffle prizes at highdesertmuseum.org/hdr. The first Rendezvous raffle includes a $3,000 gift certificate to La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries redeemable at Bend or Medford stores. Raffle tickets are $20 each and a maximum of 750 will be sold.
Second prize in the raffle is a trip to Las Vegas for a four-night stay at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa to attend the RiSE festival on October 8, 2022. The package includes accommodation, six festival tickets, four tickets to The Neon Museum and a $300 gift card to Esther’s Kitchen Vegas. Tickets are $100 each and a maximum of 150 will be sold.
Closing of online raffle ticket sales on Friday, August 26 at 5:00 p.m. In-person ticket purchases will be available at the High Desert Museum Admissions Office on Saturday, August 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Raffle tickets will continue to be sold in person at the High Desert Rendezvous on Saturday, August 27 and will end at 7:00 p.m. The draw will take place during the event. Winners do not need to be present to win and will be notified by email and telephone.

Rendez-vous is also an opportunity to bid on works by traditional and contemporary artists as part of the exhibition-competition and the silent auction. art in the west, now open at the Museum. The winner of Rendez-vous 2022 is Cameron Kerr. Wife of museum founder Don Kerr, who describes herself as a “lifetime volunteer,” she has been an active and loyal supporter since the institution opened in 1982. Today, she serves as museum trustee and president of the collections committee, and can be seen regularly. serving the Museum’s collections by assisting volunteers and support staff.
This marks the 33rd year of the High Desert Rendezvous, making it one of central Oregon’s oldest fundraisers. Rendezvous helps support the Museum’s educational programs, serving children and lifelong learners throughout central Oregon and beyond.
