Incredible experiences up for grabs in the Golf Foundation Online Auction


The Golf Foundation, which turns 70 in 2022, is hosting an online auction that will culminate with its “Golf at Goodwood” fundraiser on September 1.

By participating in the auction and bidding on one of the amazing experiences up for grabs, you will help The Golf Foundation in its mission to introduce more children and young people to golf, creating golfers of all backgrounds for the life.

Check out the Golf Foundation’s online auction to place your bid and learn how to create the perfect Dim Sum for six at Soho House, enjoy seven courses at a world-famous Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Vaasu or enjoy the hospitality for four at the 151st Open Championship. at Royal Liverpool.

Perhaps the most exciting experience to bid on in the auction is that of a T67 Top Gun style air combat mission, described in the auction as such –

“Fly in aerial combat and aerobatics with your opponent’s aircraft – yourself! Your former military flight instructor will demonstrate formation takeoff and close formation flying in the T67 Firefly aircraft. Flying close to another aircraft, you perform aerobatic maneuvers to acclimate to g-force, then you’ll be introduced to tail-chasing and dogfighting against your opponent.

Also up for grabs are four balls at world famous courses including Royal Portrush and Gleneagles, other fine dining experiences including a tasting menu for 10 at Launceston Place, and Titleist gear including an edition staff bag Limited and Rafa Cabrera Bello’s Vokey winning setup from the 2021 Spanish Open.

“We have some brilliant auction prices ending live at our event in Goodwood on September 1,” said Vanessa Bell, fundraising manager for the Golf Foundation. “Every donation we receive helps us continue our work to bring this great game to more young people of all backgrounds. Golf is a sport that teaches valuable life skills to children of all abilities, and with your help, we can make a major difference for more young people. 21 teams have booked their place at Goodwood for the September 1 fundraiser. Participants will use Goodwood’s excellent facilities and take part in innovative game formats based on the GolfSixes league. For more details, visit the Golf Foundation Auctions page.
