Napa Valley State Parks Association Launches 2022 Online Auction in Support of Napa State Parks

Opens at 12:00 p.m. PST on September 1stst with donations from over 150 Napa Valley donors

ST. HELENA, Calif., September 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Napa Valley State Parks Association (NVSPA), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization for more than 50 years, opens its 2022 online auction today at 12:00 p.m. (PST) which will last until September 25eclosing at 9:00 p.m. (PST), featuring auction items from more than 150 Napa Valley donors. NVSPA will host its 2022 Bale Grist Mill Harvest Dinner on September 24e, which will also include a live auction. Harvest dinner tickets are rare and can be purchased at The Mill Keeper serves as the presenting sponsor for the dinner.

While the COVID pandemic and 2020 wildfires have devastated Napa Valley’s three state parks, some things have remained constant: Napa State Parks, including Bale Grist Mill, Bothe-Napa Valley, and Robert Louis Stevensonhave continued to serve as an escape and an oasis for Napa County residents and tourists looking for fresh air, exercise, hiking, biking, climbing and a place to smile in the sun. Dedicated parks staff, supported by the Napa Open Space District, have continued to care for these beautiful, historic state parks even in the face of wildfires, drought, and pandemic challenges in recent years. The three state parks, owned by the state of california but dependent solely on local and private funding since 2012, are an essential asset for Napa Valleythe Bay Area and tourists from around the world.

The Napa Valley State Parks Association’s mission is to raise funds and recruit volunteers to support the three state of california parks located in beautiful Napa Valley. Funds raised by the Association are used for historic building maintenance, trail maintenance, educational resources, park resources, upkeep of campsites, yurts, cabins and a pool fed by a spring, as well as picnic areas, a 176-year-old working gray mill and access for all.
