Popcorn Tavern is holding a silent auction for a benefit event for the victims of the downtown fire

(WLAX/WEUX) – The Popcorn Tavern is hosting a benefit for its neighbors at apartments affected by the 4th Street fire.

The Popcorn Tavern is seeking donations for a silent auction/raffle with all proceeds going directly to those involved. The Popcorn Tavern also donates all proceeds from sales during the benefit to the cause.

All sponsors and donors will be publicly recognized for their generosity to the event and media coverage.

How to donate: Contact Holly Keating (608) 738-6349 or The Popcorn Tavern to arrange for pickup of your donation. Please organize the collection of donations no later than Thursday, May 19 in order to have time to organize the silent auction and the draws.

Cash donations: can be delivered directly to the Popcorn Tavern.

The general public is invited to attend this fundraising event which will take place on Sunday, May 22 starting at 2 p.m. The silent auction will take place next door inside Bridges Church (306 4th St). There will be live music, free food from local businesses, and free beer (while it lasts) from generous Popcorn vendors.
