Statement from Cody Rhodes on Silent Auction Planned for AEW Grand Slam Week

As noted, AEW will be holding a silent auction to benefit the Tunnel 2 Towers during the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Special at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the big show and All Elite Wrestling charity effort, one of the company’s EVPs and in-ring talents, Cody Rhodes, took to social media to comment on the adventure.

Cody, who takes on Malakai Black in the Grand Slam special this week, wrote the following on his official Twitter page about the aforementioned silent auction:

“Thank you to @rmorfnyc from the Community Outreach Team for bringing this great organization to my attention. Dude is instrumental in this lightning moment for our company taking place tomorrow in New York – that was the cap of my first AEW match, happy bidding!
