The Lutheran School of St. John’s online auction is underway; offers accepted until next Friday

The St. John’s Lutheran School in Stuttgart is holding an online auction until Friday, December 10th. School principal Kristian Dabbs said the proceeds from the auction will go to the school’s literacy and math programs and technology upgrades.

“Like everyone here, we are modernizing our fiber. It costs a significant amount of money. We have improved our technology and we have also invested more money in our programs for our curriculum, ”said Dabbs.

The school’s auction takes place on Eventgroove, which is an online platform for events and fundraisers. Dabbs said anyone interested in participating can find the link to the sale on the St. John’s Lutheran School Facebook page. It is also directly related here.

“The auctions will end on December 10 at 6 p.m. You have a few weeks to get started and look at the numbers,” Dabbs said.

This auction is the school’s main fundraising event each year. For the 2021-2022 school year, it will take place in two parts.

“This year we have an online auction, and we also have the live event taking place in February,” Dabbs said.

Participants can bid on various items that have been donated by businesses in the region.

“Some of the wonderful items we have in the auction include a Vera Bradley Package donated by Coker Hampton, The Main Hub Gift Certificate, PJ Coffee Gift Certificates, Studio Allegro Gift Certificate and fantastic items from Lauren’s Garden and some of our other local businesses, ”said Dabbs.

If anyone has any questions about the auction or the school, they are encouraged to call the St. John’s Lutheran School office at (870) -673-7096.
