Tryon Arts and Crafts School Announces November Online Auction

Tryon Arts & Crafts School is hosting its third fall online auction, with major sponsors New View Realty, Tryon Theater and All Good Things Bakery from November 1-12. The auction includes over 150 lots, which will be on display at TACS during the opening reception of the annual Craft Festival Market, November 11, 6-8 p.m.

Collectors, buyers, bargain hunters and uniqueness seekers can log on to TACS online auctions for the chance to acquire 2 and 3 dimensional arts and crafts, adventures , overnight stays and collectibles. Notable auction lots include vintage handcrafted wood and spindles, antique brass hardware, a 1965 model Ford Mustang convertible, a zip line experience, dinner for 6, golf outings, fused glassware, pottery, painted silk scarves, wooden turned bowls, carvings in various mediums, artisan knives, signed prints and much more.

The auction website address will be announced at noon on Tuesday, November 1 through the TACS email newsletter, social media and the TACS website, The auction site and catalog will contain instructions for using text messaging to place bids and receive live updates on items of interest to you. Bidding will be live until 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 12. TACS will offer free auction catalogs in PDF or printed format for those who wish to familiarize themselves with the many items listed before using the computer or telephone.

This non-profit online event is made possible through donations and support from artists, collectors, volunteers and local businesses.
