“This year we are thrilled to present the beautiful original watercolor ‘Early Morning Beach Walk’ by renowned local artist Kathleen Fitzgerald. His painting captures the beauty and serenity of southern Delaware. This painting would look stunning in someone’s home or coastal living space,” said Linda Marsden, Auction Coordinator. “Bidding online is easy and fun with our user-friendly auction software. Buyers can browse our extensive auction catalog and click on an item image to see an enlargement.

“I am a lifelong artist and beach life has inspired many of my pieces over the years. I have enjoyed many peaceful walks on our beautiful beaches here. This watercolor evokes the freedom, beauty and serenity of outside,” Fitzgerald said.

Auction items include additional artwork, such as beautiful hand-painted Ukrainian eggs, jewelry, coastal and southwestern decor items, and unique beach lifestyle items area, such as shell tools and a wetsuit. The auction also includes gift cards from local restaurants and a variety of handcrafted items.

Shoppers can also purchase items from UUSD’s one-stop shop offering many used family treasures such as vintage jewelry, pottery, carvings and more.
