Willamette Humane Society fundraiser returns with in-person event and online auction

Following the cancellation of in-person events last year, the Willamette Humane Society is evolving their annual Halloween-themed fundraiser, Bowser’s Boo Bash. This year will feature both an in-person event and an online auction.

The event will take place on October 23 at the Willamette Heritage Center, 1313 Mill Street SE, and will feature dinner, music, games and live, silent auction items. Officials said they plan to share a special story about a rescued kitten this summer.

“Bowser’s Boo Bash is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year,” said Erin Weldon, Director of Development and Community Engagement. “The fundraising goal is serious, but the night is so much fun. We can’t wait to see everyone in costume.

Tickets can be purchased for $ 150 each. The ticket price includes dinner, wine, entertainment and the opportunity to participate in the auction.

For those who cannot attend, the refuge is also hosting an online auction with over 50 items, including a set of Baggalini luggage, gift certificates from local businesses, and handmade blankets by artists. local.
