In 1982, the famous red wine critic Robert Parker declared that the Lafite wine of that year was one of the best vintages of the 20th century. He commented that the wine of that year had a rich fruit aroma, soft tannins, and was already very energetic in the early stages of aging. After aging, the tannins are still firm, the quality is amazing, and the potential is endless. It is conservatively estimated that the next 30 to 65 years will still be the peak period of 1982 Lafite.
