Year: about 1930s

Process: raw tea

This Mengjing round tea from the 1930s, 1 tube with 7 pieces, the whole tube is well packaged, and the tea comes with inner tea leaves. It uses thick stems of tea leaves, and after nearly a hundred years of aging, it is still well preserved, which is rare. Judging from the inner tea leaves of Mengjing, the oval inner tea leaves in both Chinese and English were a common brand printing form used by overseas Chinese merchants in British Burma at that time. At the same time, the inner tea leaves indicate that Mengjing is Mongkyeang in English and Mengnong in English, both of which are in the Golden Triangle of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos, and are under the management of Mengsa, the state of Xibang. Mengnong is the Mengnong village northeast of Pu'er Town, Yunnan Province. This place has always been rich in Pu'er tea, and is a tea-producing area in central Yunnan Province along with Mengku and Fengshan.
